Back to the 1990s…!
You are simply excited about your holidays in Greece and you are ready to go shopping, so as to be as classy and fabulous as possible for your favourite summer time..!
Of course I feel you..!
It sounds like just months ago that we were all commiserating about our pent-up wanderlust and tragic lack of vacation plans. And, well, it was. But in just a few short weeks, almost immediately after loosened travel restrictions were announced, it seems like everyone we know (and then some) has jetted off to the land of sea food, souvlaki and wonderful beaches. No, you’re not imagining it – the whole world really is in Greece right now!
Greece seems to be a hotspot right now with celebrities flocking there for vacation. For the past two weeks Demi Moore and daughter Rummer Willis, have been having a blast while vacationing on the island of Santorini in Greece and they have plenty of bikini selfies to prove it.
The island of Skiathos welcomed Hollywood royalty, actors Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell as they joined friends costume director and film producer Anthea Sylbert and her partner, author and actor Richard Romanus.
Canadian pop star Justin Bieber and wife Hailey (née Baldwin) touched down quietly in Mykonos in a private helicopter.
The couple are travelling around Greece, visiting the islands of Mykonos, Milos, and Santorini, this time opting for more humble spots to eat over the high-end eateries.
Mykonos is always a favourite destination among the rich and famous, so it was no surprise that Norwegian footballer and Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland has been joining many other international celebrities for an end-of-season holiday on the island.
As a native Greek girl, I will give you the best advice in order to be completely to the point for any occasion , from the first minute you will land in Hellas ( the hellenic world for Greece) ..!
Let’s begin..!
The post was originally created on 20 June 2017 and it is now reposted with updated information.
‘The isles of Greece, the isles of Greece, eternal summer gilds them yet…’
Lord Byron was on to something when he waxed lyrical about the Greek islands. But with more than 200 to choose from, which one is right for you? After a difficult decision to be taken, because of the fact that each one is unique and there is so much beauty to be revealed in any case, here are the best Greek islands to visit this summer.
These sunny islands are the perfect half-term hideout. Easy to get to, with fabulous beaches, clean waters, delicious food and a cheek-pinching matriarchal love of local people.
Nuzzled amidst the gracious nature, three unrivalled luxury villas in Porto Heli, Greece, harmoniously blend into the miraculous seascape providing an intimate hideaway for families and discerning travellers in search for a heaven on earth. Brilliantly positioned in a scenic area near Porto Heli town, these exclusive private villas with pool, have been brilliantly appointed and designed to ensure a prestigious holiday experience for all treasured owners or guests.
The development’s location was strategically chosen for its close proximity to the center of Porto Heli, (only 2km from main port), perfect elevation with unobstructed views onto the sea and backdrop of the Peloponnese, and yet only 50 meters away from a secluded charming pebbled beach directly across from the villas. Every villa has a slight variation in design, build-up area and land size, sharing a common private road in the back of the development, allowing access to each of the villas through a privately gated entrance.
It was definitely a night to remember…
Last night, June 17th 2021, a unique fashion show took place in Athens, Greece. At the Panathenaic Stadium of Athens, the world’s only marble stadium, Maria Grazia Chiuri On Hosting Dior’s Cruise 2022 Collection, found the most authentic stage to examine just why she loves this most original garment—the mother of all dresses—so much. She worked the peplos that opened the show like a parachute dress, sportifying it with drawstrings and drawing a contrast to the classic Hellenic dresses that closed the show.
MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION FALL/WINTER 2021—THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY RUNWAY SHOW
New York is ready for the returning of glamour..!
Michael Kors certainly proved so.
In honor of the iconic designer’s big 40th anniversary, Kors looked to the future of getting all dressed up again, while revisiting all the glitz of the the city’s past.
New Yorkers had the rare chance to see an in-person Michael Kors mini show yesterday. A negative result on a Rapid Test granted entry to a Chelsea gallery space where many “so good to see yous” but none of the once standard air kisses were exchanged. The designer said that in the downtime of the pandemic, he’d gone searching for the “connective threads” of 40 years. “Certainly timelessness is something we’ve always prided ourselves in, something that I think our customers really appreciate.”
An inspirational story to remember…
Brunello Cucinelli was born 3 September 1953 in Castel Rigone. He is the Italian luxury creative director and the chief executive of his eponymous made in Italy brand, Brunello Cucinelli. He donates 20% of his profits through the Brunello Cucinelli Foundation. He has been described as a “philosopher-designer”.
In memory of HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. (born Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark, 10 June 1921– 9 April 2021)
It was with great sorrow that we heard the news yesterday afternoon of the passing of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, born Prince of Greece and Denmark.. Yesterday the world lost a great man. Great-Britain lost a patriot, the Commonwealth lost a servent, the royal family lost its husband and father and Greece lost a great Prince.
Steadfast and loyal he served the Crown with selfless devotion and leaves behind an amazing legacy. He will be missed.
Spring, also known as springtime, is one of the four temperate seasons, succeeding winter and preceding summer. There are various technical definitions of spring, but local usage of the term varies according to local climate, cultures and customs.
Spring and “springtime” refer to the season, and also to ideas of rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal, resurrection and regrowth. Subtropical and tropical areas have climates better described in terms of other seasons, e.g. dry or wet, monsoonal or cyclonic. Cultures may have local names for seasons which have little equivalence to the terms originating in Europe.
As we may all have had a difficult winter, let’s try to think pink and add some of it to our routine.
It is definitely needed more than ever..!
