As the most glamorous time of the year is coming to the pick, I chose the Noble Mistress of  Ionian Islands , Corfu to spend some idylic winter holidays , before the big celebrations of Christmas day.

Models whose hands were banded in leather ready for fighting had a gait that was fast and mechanical. KENDALL, Gigi and Lily – this season’s model heavyweights – came out for Elie Saab yesterday afternoon, modelling the latest from the designer who told us that he wanted to add the precious into the everyday. The house’s signatures of florals and lace loomed large in short, sweet dresses and long dramatic gowns as well as on leather, which was laser-cut to floral effect. The silhouettes, too, were classic Elie Saab, all dipped hems and billowing trains like we saw for the summer just gone and still exuding the same grown-up glamour.
