Maybe the most anticipated fashion show of NYFY is made a reality yesterday. Peter Copping proved to be a worthy succesor of the unforgettable Oscar de la Renta. The Collection was as Classy as always but with a sense of security for a new approach of luxury and decadence of materials and style. Amazing fashionable creations were stood out like the double-face cashmere fit and flare coat, the fairytale gown with fuchsia taffeta drape, or the splendid intarsia mink coat which will be a discussion for a long time… A welcome innovation was also the appeal of a two-for-one showpiece which gave another dimention to the up to now styling…

Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo presented their Spring – Summer Couture Collection.
Building on the elegance and delicate femininity for which the Ralph & Russo house is renowned, the collection celebrates Spring and its connotations of regeneration and rebirth.
The elegance of Chinese calligraphy is referenced in the hand-painted peonies and tulips, which appear in sapphire, blush pink and lavender grey. Organza petal appliqué glistens alongside crystal dewdrops on three-dimensional silk threadwork.
Directly from Paris Fashion Week, “Enter India” by Elie Saab was a dedicated story to the glory and elegance of the subcontinent, while the muse of his new couture collection, the notes went on to explain, was a turn-of-the-last-century Englishwoman on a trip there. Really Interesting and intriguing !
