Her brand began some fifteen seasons ago with a line up of ten dresses – and it has come a long way since then with an announcement this morning of a new 2,200sq ft store opening in the heart of Hong Kong. She was feeling reflective, wanting to readdress the wardrobe pieces that she has loved over the years. Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo presented their Spring – Summer Couture Collection.

Building on the elegance and delicate femininity for which the Ralph & Russo house is renowned, the collection celebrates Spring and its connotations of regeneration and rebirth.

The elegance of Chinese calligraphy is referenced in the hand-painted peonies and tulips, which appear in sapphire, blush pink and lavender grey. Organza petal appliqué glistens alongside crystal dewdrops on three-dimensional silk threadwork.
