Chanel’s Métiers d’Art Collection to the Château des Dames

La Pausa, Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel’s fabled house in Roquebrune in the south of France, was probably the inspiration for one of the most spectacular , recent fashion shows we had the opportunity to enjoy.

Chanel’s creative director Virginie Viard was taken on a tour of the storied Chateaux of the Loire. At the time, she was more impressed by the splendors of Chambord than the more intimate charm of the fairytale Château de Chenonceau. Revisiting Chenonceau earlier this year, however, when the castle was planned as the setting for an in-person Métiers d’Art show Viard was struck by how closely the atmosphere of the place evoked La Pausa.

As Christmas time is almost here and despite everybody being a little subdued as a result of the worldwide covid 19 situation , it’s time to change our attitude toward s things for a while and be thankful for what we have , appreciative of our accomplishments, faithful to our values , open-handed to family and beloved ones and of course generous to both others and ourselves.

I ‘m really excited and blessed about a couple of new collaborations with a number of exceptional jewellery companies , which I find prestigious and very chic. The design is sleek and fits all my essentials in style.
