Sea and Sky Villa is built following the typical Aegean architectural style. It harmoniously combines neo-classical forms with arches and rounded edges at the walls, together with modern elements all together resulting in a dreamlike setting.

There are four traditional rooms in the villa. Each of them has two double and two king size built-in beds, two bathrooms, a small garden, ideal for breakfast or lunch and a second balcony with a view. The external stairs lead to the roof of the villa where there is a Jacuzzi for your relaxing moments in the secrets of the deep blue .

The Villa also has a small, fully equipped kitchen with electrical appliances such as fridge and freezer, kettle, electric cooker and a toaster. Cutlery and cooking utensils are also available .Filter coffee, tea, milk and sugar are available all day. Free Wi-Fi access is available and free of charge in all indoor and outdoor areas.

The serene villa is located at the world famous village of  Imerovigli (Greek: Ημεροβίγλι) which  is a village adjacent to the north of the island capital Fira.

Imerovigli is mostly famous for its beautiful sunset, that it is called “balcony to the Aegean“. Its houses are built amphitheatrically around the caldera and it is crossed by narrow, paved paths.

Imerovigli has many lovely churches, all made in the Cycladic architectural style. They most notable are the church of Ai-Stratis, in the centre of the village, and the Monastery of Saint Nikolaos, on the way connecting Imerovigli to Fira. Another famous site of Imerovigli is Skaros, which are the remains of a Venetian Castle built in 1207 by Marco Sanudo, the ruler of all Cyclades islands that time.

Sunset time at Agios Nikolaos Monastery,

which is one of the most historical monasteries of Santorini  dating back to centuries and it is situated  just some minutes far from the villa.  It was originally built near Skaros but it was moved there, after the castle-town has been abandoned. It is open for visitors several hours a day.

The ceremony is conducted at the Town Hall from Monday-Friday, or we can arrange your wedding in our alfresco next to the villa’s pool , overlooking the Aegean Sea. The Orthodox Greek church of St Haralambos is 4 kms from the hotel in Mykonos Town (Chora) where a local priest will perform the ceremony. A selection of Orthodox churches is found on Mykonos.  Our wedding coordinators can assist with contacts.

With 300 days of sunshine per year, Rhodes is mostly famous for it’s romantic Old Town,  which is among the best-preserved Medieval Towns of Europe, with amazing surrounding  ,  limestone walls,  paved paths,  elegant neoclassical mansions and the impressive castle with the  Palace of the Grand Master that was built in the 14th century and can be still easily  visited.    A drive around the island will bring you to magnificent beaches, impressive  sightseeings  ,  picturesque villages, archeological sites, and exclusive places for total  privacy.

The island of Rhodes is shaped like a spearhead, 79.7 km (49.5 mi) long and 38 km (24 mi) wide, with a total area of approximately 1,400 square kilometres (541 sq mi) and a coastline of approximately 220 km (137 mi).

Limestone is the main bedrock. The city of Rhodes is located at the northern tip of the island, as well as the site of the ancient and modern commercial harbours. The Travels of Sir John Mandeville incorrectly reports that Rhodes was formerly called “Collosus”, through a conflation of the Colossus of Rhodes and Paul‘s Epistle to the Colossians, which refers to Colossae.

The infinite power of Caldera, the incredible beauty of the sunrise, the magic time of the sunset… My bare feet inside the black sand…, Amazing Cocktails…, Late Afternoons in the dark blue sea…, Cool evenings catching the glorious sunset in Oia…, every night playing hide-and-seek with the moon- beholding the shape that it has today and the shape it will get tomorrow… A stunning moon  that sets off at Anafi and ends up plunging into the tranquil volcano , no matter its size… These are only just a few of the things that have seduced me in Santorini.

In my latest trip there, there were so many things to do and share…, so I decided to start with a glorious villa in Pyrgos, where I found out through a prudent reserch involving friends and natives and I would like to present it to you as I’m sure that it will be proved to be a great choice if anybody wants to visit the magic island.

The villa is located at Pyrgos, as it was mentioned , just a few minutes away from the Monastery of Prophet Elias. It is magic place, tranquil and peaceful that can guarantee intimacy and serenity.

It is a 200 sqm, cozy luxury villa, built up to the Pyrgos area, having to capacity to host up  to 10 people.

The breathtaking view is unique .

The villa is ideal for families or friends .

The whole area has a lot of things to offer, such as historical sites and restaurants, monasteries, interesting pathways.

In Pyrgos there are 56 churches. The oldest of them Theotikaki was built in the 11th century. St. Georgios in Kelefhio, which used to serve as a refuge for the inhabitants at the time of pirate raids. At the Monastery of Prophet Elias you will enjoy one of the best views. The Boheme villa is located just some metres away from the Monastery, that is why its view is awesome.

About Pyrgos …

        Pyrgos Kallistis or simply Pyrgos (Greek: Πύργος Καλλίστης, literally ‘Tower’) is a village on the Aegean island of Santorini, Greece, in the Cyclades archipelago with a population of 912 according to the 2011 census. Pyrgos is part of the Municipality of Thira and is situated approximately 7 km away from the island’s capital Fira.  It is built amphitheatrically on a hill that offers magnificent views of Santorini in almost all directions.

On top of this hill remain the ruins of a Venetian castle (Kasteli) that was once the island’s administrative center. Pyrgos is a typical example of medieval architecture with narrow, labyrinthine streets, fortified walls and hidden passages. Nowadays it is one of the villages of Santorini least spoiled by tourism.
