Carolina Herrera Autumn/Winter 2015-16

February 16, 2015

This season, Carolina Herrera said she was exploring interpretations of water. It popped up in a palette with cool blues and greys, to prints of ripples and carbonated bubbles, it even translated to wavy hemlines on flippy mini skirts.

Making waves was another theme here: Carolina Herrera’s clientele will no doubt raise a few eyebrows at the next charity luncheon wearing one of those cocoon sleeved wool dresses with undulating seams spliced with astrakhan and crocodile. Directional fabric mixes were playful here this morning; elsewhere, a prince of Wales check morphed into a fuzzy mohair texture, it looked innovative.
